Overnight Flight to Paris

Day 2:

Welcome to France!
  • Meet your Tour Director at the airport
  • Explore Paris on foot with your Tour Director, walking the cobbled streets of the Latin Quarter, crossing onto Île de la Cité, and pausing by the flying buttresses of Notre-Dame Cathedral

Day 3:

Explore Paris
  • Guided by a local expert, follow the thread of revolution and elegance through Paris’s grand boulevards. From the Arc de Triomphe to the Eiffel Tower and Place de la Concorde, experience a city that lives and breathes its joie de vivre
  • Guided by an expert, visit the Louvre, the world’s most famous museum. See the Mona Lisa, the Winged Victory of Samothrace, and the Venus de Milo as you explore a palace filled with centuries of global art
  • Explore Montmartre on foot with your Tour Director, wandering past cafés, artists' corners, and steep cobbled lanes that once inspired Picasso and Toulouse-Lautrec

Day 4:

Paris
  • Visit the Musée d’Orsay, home to the world’s finest collection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art inside a grand Beaux-Arts train station
  • Visit the Musée de l'Orangerie to stand before Monet’s monumental Water Lilies and explore modern masterpieces in a serene, light-filled setting
  • Enjoy a Seine River cruise in Paris, gliding past bridges and landmarks as city lights shimmer on the water

Day 5:

Paris - Provence
  • Travel by TGV train to Avignon, cutting swiftly through the French countryside aboard France’s famed high-speed rail
  • Explore Avignon with your Tour Director, walking the cobbled lanes between the towering Palais des Papes and the remnants of the Pont d’Avignon stretching toward the Rhône

Day 6:

Explore Provence
  • Explore Provence with your Tour Director. Visit the Roman aqueduct at Pont du Gard, step inside the arena at Nîmes, and wander the narrow stone streets of Les Baux de Provence set into the rock
  • Visit the Pont du Gard, a remarkably preserved Roman aqueduct spanning the Gardon River with monumental grace
  • Visit the Nîmes Amphitheater and explore one of the best-preserved Roman arenas in the world where gladiators once battled and crowds gathered for grand spectacles
  • Guided by a local expert, follow in the footsteps of Vincent van Gogh through Arles. See the yellow café, Roman arena, and riverside settings that inspired his most iconic Provençal paintings

Day 7:

Provence - Barcelona
  • Travel via Figueres to Barcelona
  • Visit the Dalí Theatre Museum, where surrealism takes center stage in the artist’s hometown museum — a dreamscape of color, illusion, and eccentricity

Day 8:

Explore Barcelona
  • Guided by a local expert, experience Barcelona’s rich contrasts. See the Olympic hill of Montjuïc, wander the Gothic Quarter where medieval streets twist past hidden plazas, and end at Plaça de Catalunya, the pulse of the modern city
  • Visit Park Güell, where Gaudí’s playful mosaics, curving benches, and hilltop views capture Barcelona’s surreal spirit
  • Visit La Sagrada Família, Gaudí’s unfinished masterpiece of stained glass and soaring spires
  • Explore Barcelona on foot with your Tour Director, strolling down Las Ramblas past flower stalls and performers, through the vibrant Mercat de la Boquería, and to the Columbus Monument at the harbor’s edge

Day 9:

Barcelona
  • Visit Casa Milà, Gaudí’s curving stone masterpiece with surreal chimneys and wave-like walls. Step inside to explore imaginative interiors and sweeping rooftop views over the city
  • Visit the Picasso Museum to explore over 4,000 works tracing the artist’s early years and deep ties to the city
  • Enjoy a special farewell dinner to celebrate your journey and share a final meal with your group

Day 10:

Depart for home
