  • Guided by a local expert, experience Barcelona’s rich contrasts. See the Olympic hill of Montjuïc, wander the Gothic Quarter where medieval streets twist past hidden plazas, and end at Plaça de Catalunya, the pulse of the modern city
  • Visit Park Güell, where Gaudí’s playful mosaics, curving benches, and hilltop views capture Barcelona’s surreal spirit
  • Visit La Sagrada Família, Gaudí’s unfinished masterpiece of stained glass and soaring spires
  • Free time or Optional tour of Camp Nou stadium
  • Opt to tour Camp Nou, home of FC Barcelona. Explore the stadium museum and learn about the club’s storied history, legendary players, and global impact on the world of football

Day 4:

Barcelona
  • Free time or Optional Guided excursion to Gerona and Figueres
  • Opt to take a guided excursion to Gerona and Figueres. Walk Gerona’s medieval walls and winding lanes, then visit the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres, where surrealism takes center stage in the artist’s hometown

Day 5:

Barcelona - Madrid
  • Ride the AVE high-speed train from Barcelona to Madrid, crossing stretches of Spanish countryside in comfort and speed
  • Explore Madrid on foot with your Tour Director, crossing Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor before arriving at Plaza de España, where statues, fountains, and literary figures frame the square

Day 6:

Explore Madrid
  • Guided by a local expert, explore Madrid’s sweeping boulevards and royal legacy. From Gran Vía to Calle Mayor, pass Puerta de Alcalá and take in the city’s neoclassical grandeur and stately energy
  • Visit the Royal Palace, Madrid’s grandest landmark, with gilded rooms, frescoed ceilings, and centuries of royal history
  • Guided by a local expert, discover the layers of Christian, Muslim, and Jewish heritage that shaped Toledo. Visit the Church of Santo Tomé, home to El Greco’s famed Burial of the Count of Orgaz, and explore St. Mary’s Synagogue, one of Spain’s oldest, reflecting the city’s Jewish legacy
  • Visit Toledo Cathedral, a soaring Gothic masterpiece filled with stained glass, golden altars, and works by El Greco

Day 7:

Madrid
