Dubrovnik - Split

• Travel to Split
  
• Guided by a local expert, explore Split’s layered heart where Roman ruins and Dalmatian life intertwine. Visit Diocletian’s Palace, then pass Peristil Square and the bell tower of St. Duje’s Cathedral rising over the old city

Day 5:

Split - Zagreb

• Travel via Plitvice National Park to Zagreb
  
• Visit Plitvice National Park, where turquoise lakes spill into cascading waterfalls and wooden walkways wind through Croatia’s most breathtaking natural wonder
  

Day 6:

Zagreb - Ljubljana

• Guided by a local expert, discover Zagreb’s charm from hilltop to market square. Walk the cobbled streets of the Upper Town, see the twin spires of Zagreb Cathedral, and explore the colors and bustle of Market Dolac

Day 7:

Explore Ljubljana and Bled

• Guided by a local expert, explore Ljubljana’s riverside core and easygoing rhythm. Walk from Old Square to City Hall Square, cross the Triple Bridge, and take in the city’s blend of baroque elegance and modern charm
• Visit Ljubljana Castle by funicular, then wander its medieval walls and towers, take in sweeping views of the city, and explore the exhibits tucked inside its hilltop stronghold
  
• Take an excursion to the alpine town of Bled, where an emerald lake, forested slopes, and a tiny island church create one of Europe’s most picturesque settings
• Visit Bled Castle, perched above Slovenia’s emerald lake, to explore medieval halls and gaze out over storybook alpine views
  

Day 8:

Ljubljana - Venice

• Travel to Venice, stopping in Trieste, a coastal city with Austro-Italian flair and Adriatic views

Explore Venice

• With a licensed local guide, explore Venice's layers of power and artistry, taking in the magnificent facade of St. Mark's Basilica, the grand piazza that has anchored the city for centuries, and a live demonstration of the ancient craft of Murano glassblowing
• Visit the Doge's Palace, where Venice's rulers once governed a Mediterranean empire, exploring the opulent ceremonial chambers, the famous Bridge of Sighs, and the stark prison cells that tell the other side of the story
  
• Enjoy a gondola ride along Venice’s iconic canals and experience the city from its most timeless perspective
  
• Explore Venice on your own, from quiet canals and artisan shops to hidden corners beyond the main squares
