  • Visit the Perlan Museum, where interactive exhibits, a rotating glass dome, and a walk-through ice cave reveal the forces that shaped Iceland

Day 3:

The Golden Circle
  • Explore Þingvellir National Park, where shifting tectonic plates and Viking history shape a UNESCO World Heritage landscape
  • See the Geysir Geothermal Area, where bubbling earth and erupting steam vents showcase Iceland’s volcanic heart
  • See Gullfoss Waterfall as it crashes into a canyon with roaring force and icy spray
  • Visit the Friðheimar Tomato Greenhouse, a warm oasis in Iceland where geothermally powered greenhouses grow fresh produce year-round—often served with tomato soup
  • Travel along Iceland’s South Shore, where black-sand beaches, glacial tongues, and roaring falls line the rugged coast

Day 4:

Explore the South Shore
  • Visit Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls to witness two of Iceland’s most iconic cascades—one you can walk behind, the other thundering down a sheer cliff face
  • Walk the black sand beach at Reynisfjara and see the Dyrhólaey cliffs rising above crashing Atlantic waves
  • Stop at Sólheimajökull Glacier and see the icy tongue of a glacier up close, where black volcanic ash streaks the surface

Day 5:

South Shore - Reykjavík
  • Visit the Lava Centre for an immersive look at Iceland’s volcanic forces, from tectonic plates to eruptive simulations and glowing magma flows
  • At the Hellisheidi Geothermal Power Plant, visit interactive exhibits that reveal how Iceland turns volcanic heat into renewable energy
  • Travel to Reykjavík

Day 6:

Reykjavík
  • Drive the scenic Álftanes Peninsula, stopping at Bessastaðir, the president’s official residence. Explore Hafnarfjörður, a coastal town built on lava rock, then visit the remote Lake Kleifarvatn, where volcanic cliffs rise over still waters. Finish at the Krísuvík geothermal field, where steaming vents and cracked earth showcase Iceland’s raw power
  • Visit the Blue Lagoon and soak in mineral-rich geothermal waters surrounded by lava fields and steam
