Day 3:

Explore Barcelona

• Guided by a local expert, experience Barcelona’s rich contrasts. See the Olympic hill of Montjuïc, wander the Gothic Quarter where medieval streets twist past hidden plazas, and end at Plaça de Catalunya, the pulse of the modern city
• Visit Park Güell, where Gaudí’s playful mosaics, curving benches, and hilltop views capture Barcelona’s surreal spirit
  
• Visit La Sagrada Família, Gaudí’s unfinished masterpiece of stained glass and soaring spires
  
• Free time or Optional Flamenco evening
• Opt to experience the passion of a flamenco evening, where footwork, guitar, and song come together in a performance that captures Spain’s fiery spirit

Day 4:

Barcelona - Valencia

• Travel to Valencia
  
• Explore Valencia with your Tour Director, winding through the old silk exchange and past the Gothic cathedral before seeing the dramatic curves of the City of Arts and Sciences across town
• Take an excursion to the Parc Natural de l'Albufera de València, cruising past rice paddies and wetlands as you discover the birthplace of paella and a quieter side of the region
  
• Enjoy a paella dinner, savoring the saffron-scented rice, fresh seafood, and traditional flavors of this beloved Valencian dish
  

Day 5:

Valencia - Granada

• Travel to Granada, passing through the cave district of Guadix with its whitewashed, hillside dwellings
  

Day 6:

Granada - Costa del Sol

• Guided by a local expert, walk the Alhambra’s exquisite grounds. Visit the summer palace, medina, and Arab baths, and wander the Generalife gardens and the ramparts of the Alcazaba fortress
• Travel to the Costa del Sol
  

Day 7:

Costa del Sol

• Free time or Optional Guided excursion Morocco
• Opt to take a guided excursion to Morocco, crossing the Strait of Gibraltar by ferry and exploring the coastal landscapes and cultural highlights of North Africa

Day 8:

Costa del Sol - Seville

• Travel to Seville
  
• Guided by a local expert, explore Seville’s grand plazas and golden landmarks. See the tiled arcades of Plaza de España, the riverside Torre del Oro, and the resting place said to hold Christopher Columbus
• Visit Seville Cathedral to stand beneath one of the world’s largest Gothic altarpieces
  
• Ascend the Giralda Tower, a former minaret turned bell tower, for panoramic views over Seville’s historic center
  

Day 9:

Seville - Madrid

• Travel via Córdoba to Madrid
  
• Guided by a local expert, explore Córdoba’s winding lanes and rich past. Pass whitewashed homes, lively courtyards, and traces of Roman, Moorish, and Jewish heritage woven through the old town
• Visit the Mezquita, a stunning mosque-cathedral where Islamic arches and a Christian altar coexist beneath a forest of red-and-white columns
  

Day 10:

Explore Madrid

• Guided by a local expert, explore Madrid’s sweeping boulevards and royal legacy. From Gran Vía to Calle Mayor, pass Puerta de Alcalá and take in the city’s neoclassical grandeur and stately energy
• Visit the Royal Palace, Madrid’s grandest landmark, with gilded rooms, frescoed ceilings, and centuries of royal history
  
• Explore Madrid on foot with your Tour Director, crossing Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor before arriving at Plaza de España, where statues, fountains, and literary figures frame the square
• Visit the Prado Museum, home to one of the world’s finest collections of European art, including masterpieces by Velázquez, Goya, and El Greco
  

Day 11:

Toledo

• Guided by a local expert, discover the layers of Christian, Muslim, and Jewish heritage that shaped Toledo. Visit the Church of Santo Tomé, home to El Greco’s famed Burial of the Count of Orgaz, and explore St. Mary’s Synagogue, one of Spain’s oldest, reflecting the city’s Jewish legacy
• Visit Toledo Cathedral, a soaring Gothic masterpiece filled with stained glass, golden altars, and works by El Greco
  
• Enjoy a special farewell dinner to celebrate your journey and share a final meal with your group
